A corporate portrait is often the first thing a client, recruiter or journalist sees. Whether it is for LinkedIn, a company website or an annual report — the quality and tone of that single image shapes a large part of the first impression. For professionals and businesses across the Randstad, I provide portrait photography that gets that impression right.
Studio or on location: what works best?
The choice between studio and outdoor location depends on the desired look. A studio gives full control over light and background: clean, timeless results that work well for LinkedIn profiles and corporate websites where consistency matters. On location — in a park, on a city square or in front of a distinctive building — you add context and character. Both produce strong results; I match the choice to the brief.
Portrait photography at the office: efficient and hassle-free
For teams and organisations I come on location with compact equipment. A meeting room or bright office corner is usually enough for a consistent mobile studio setup. Employees do not have to travel and the shoot fits into the working day — 15 to 20 minutes per person is typically sufficient. Same light, same background, same edit: the result is a uniform set that works well on any page of the website.
For organisations with dozens of employees I plan the day in blocks so everyone flows through smoothly and production stays on schedule. Whatever the location within the Randstad, I come to you.
Group shots at events and on location
Alongside individual portraits I provide group photography for companies: board photos, team shots for annual reports, department photos for intranets or management pages. But also at events — a conference, a farewell reception, a team day — group images carry real value. In those situations I work quickly and in a structured way: all relevant combinations captured in a short time, without disrupting the programme.
The difference from a posed class photo is the approach: I give calm direction, create a relaxed atmosphere and select the frame where everyone looks their best. That sounds straightforward, but it requires experience with groups who are comfortable in front of the camera — and groups who definitely are not.
What makes a corporate portrait work?
A portrait works when it conveys confidence without feeling stiff. That requires attention to light, composition and the moment when someone is genuinely relaxed — as well as good preparation and clear guidance during the shoot. Most people do not enjoy being in front of the camera. That is precisely why a calm approach and concrete direction matter.
Images are delivered as professionally edited JPEGs via a secure download link — in most cases within one working day. Ready to use immediately for LinkedIn, your website, press and internal communications.
